“History, Aristotle says, represents things only as they are, while fiction represents them as they might be and ought to be.”
— Albert J. Nock, Memoirs of a Superfluous Man
David T. Newman

David is an author of fantasy and science fiction. Currently, he is working on an epic fantasy novel (still in its early stages) and a series of urban fantasy novellas. He grew up in the East Village of New York and will always love the city. He is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School.

Frost and Flame, the first volume in David’s The Art series, is about a man coming to grips with supernatural powers beyond anything he’s ever imagined. Assailed on all sides by forces after either his allegiance or his blood, he must fight every day just to stay alive. But is his life worth the price of his humanity?
